One Year Later

I thought Jake was going to call me for my birthday yesterday. Actually, I wished he'd call. Probably since it was thelast frontier, the last reason for him to be in touch. Now there is nothing else. Why should he call at Xmas if he didn't call now? It's really over and I still can't believe the only man I could actually see myself getting older with has just puffed himself out of my life.
So I went out and got drunk. Well, I guess I would have done that anyway, considering I am at the mercy of my best friends who love champagne, good wine, good food and good laughs.

Things could be much worse, of course. I could have spent all year without a light, but I had lots of them. And now the year is over and I am opening up a new chapter, my exciting 34th year has just begun! Viva! Adios to this blog, it's a new season!
